Zarabi

The name Zarabi is a direct nod to the company’s product. The word “zarabi” (زرابي) is Arabic for “carpets,” so the brand name immediately communicates the company’s specialty. I designed this logo for a client who sells traditional Moroccan carpets to a global market. My goal was to create a visual identity that resonates with both the brand’s heritage and its international customer base.

Used tools:
Role: Graphic designer
Responsibilities: Logo design

I decided to blend the traditional with the modern. The pixel art style I used is a subtle nod to the grid-like nature of woven carpets, with each pixel representing a single thread or knot. This approach not only gives the logo a contemporary feel but also serves as a clever visual metaphor for the intricate craftsmanship of the carpets themselves.
